A Voice for Men (AVFM) was established in 2009 as a platform for men’s advocates and as an advocacy arm for the men’s human rights movement. Since then it has played a pivotal role in changing the cultural narrative in matters of gender and sexual politics.
Headed by CEO Paul Elam, AVFM is the largest advocacy group of its kind with a staff of dozens of volunteer advocates on four continents, publishing literature on men’s issues in nine languages.
In 2014 AVFM hosted the first International Conference on Men’s Issues in Detroit, Michigan. The event featured a lineup of esteemed speakers from across the planet addressing a comprehensive list of issues affecting modern men and boys.
