Travel, parking

We recommend that you book your travel arrangements such that if you need to cancel for any reason, you can do so at short notice, and obtain a full refund. However, we understand the cost of this may be prohibitive, especially with respect to air fares.

Full directions and other transport-related matters are provided here.

If you’re travelling by air…

London City Airport is the nearest airport to the venue.

Heathrow airport has a station in the London Tube network.

London (Luton) airport is a short bus ride from Luton rail station, the journey to London St Pancras / Kings Cross is about 30 minutes.

If you’re arriving by rail…

ExCeL London is located in the revitalised Docklands area of East London. The nearest station is ‘Custom House for Excel’ on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR).

There’s a short covered walkway as you exit Custom House station, and you’ll soon arrive at the West entrance of ExCeL. Don’t enter the building, but carry on walking towards CentrEd, where the conference is being held.

A London Underground (‘Tube’) map is here. The Custom House station is in square D9.

If you need a taxi to get to your accommodation…

If the venue is open, ask at the Information desk for a taxi to be called. If the venue is closed, ask at one of the adjacent hotels.

If you’re arriving by road…

Details about driving to the venue, and parking, are here. A map showing the locations of car parks is here. The Orange Car Park (Zones 9-16) is underneath CentrEd, where the conference is being held.
